Any weekend in Toronto, Ontario Canada, is a host of many possibilities but which ones do you actually hit up? I get hundreds of emails a day from different event promoters, bands and publicists asking FridaeTV to cover their event. I can’t be everywhere but I do try and that is exactly how this weekend turned out, it was full of Art. FridaeTV is all about creative artistic expression there is no right or wrong when it comes to someones imagination. This weekend there was so much going on, starting off with the Re-Opening of Toronto’s newly renovated Sony Centre for the Performing Arts. A beautiful Structure with a modern demure and a warm comforting atmosphere. Below are a few more  photos of the night, I wish I could have stayed and enjoyed the Gala but I could not, a little here a little there.

Next on the list was an interview with Sandman Viper Command which will be published in a few weeks. They are a band of four from Burlington, Ontario, they were rocking ‘The Silver Dollar’. The set was impressive, this is a band to keep an ear open for. www.SANDMANVIPERCOMMAND.com

Saturday Night was Nuit Blanche “White Night” an all night art exhibition across Downtown Toronto,  it is held every year and gives artists the chance to expose their artwork to thousands of people, this year it was an estimated 425,000. My good friend Photographer/Designer Mikey Sin put up an amazing Alfred Hitchcock inspired exhibit titled ‘The Birds’. I helped him out with some of the set up  (I strung the Birds, he hung them and decorated the tree as he envisioned it.) Wish I strung a few more birdies but my fingers were frozen and it was getting harder to move them and tie those knots. It was a cold and rainy evening, perfect ambiance for the art piece. The end result was incredible Mikey placed the birds exactly where they needed to be and they came to life. A crowd pleaser for sure, everyone that walked by had to take a picture and we eventually added glow sticks to the birds. Those were jacked by the time we came back after some wandering, we were not surprised. Check some of the coolest stuff I captured before my battery died!
