THIS FRIDAY! FOZZY LIVE AT THE TATTOO ROCK PARLOUR!!

Hyacinth Concert & Nightlife and Molson Canadian Rocks present
the LOUD summer concert series…

Please note that the LOUD summer concert series event will be held at Tattoo Rock Parlour this Friday, August 6th (details are below):

Hyacinth Concert & Nightlife and Molson Canadian Rocks bring you a brand new 3 part summer concert series, called LOUD, an event for people to enjoy live music from local and indie bands.  Following the success of their Who’s Backstage concert series launched earlier this year, Hy Events are excited to bring music lovers a night based on kick-ass music and nothing else.  Who’s Backstage will officially step aside during the summer months to make room for the highly anticipated LOUD series that will play on three different occasions throughout.

Once warmed up with the first edition of LOUD, the band FOZZY will step in to take the second installment to their legions of fans.  Best known as a touring, exciting, kick ass rock and roll band with a mascot named Arthur, Fozzy is an international indie sensation celebrated in the mainstream.  They started out as an Ozzy Osbourne tribute band that eventually went on to record original material and release a 30 minute “mokumentary” with the help of some famous friends.  Both MTV and Much Music played the film that featured Sebastian Bach, Dee Snider and Zakk Wylde with rave reviews.  They have also had lots of success internationally with their video for the song “With the Fire” played regularly on MTV2, Much Music and Fuse TV.  The video was also shown on Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Best Damn Sports Show Period and The Craig Kilborn Show.  Howard Stern also had them on his Sirius Satellite show to play a battle of the bands which led to a lot more gigs, including appearing on WWE Raw, at the 2002 NAMM convention in L.A. and playing in front of 25,000 people at the Bang Your Head Festival in Germany with Slayer, Gamma Ray and Rob Halford.  Details of the event are as follows:

To call Fozzy an underground phenomenon would be an understatement.  Not only do they rock the stage to thousands at a time but have released two films on DVD, and contributed to various compilations.  Their song “Don’t you wish you were me” appeared on the WWE Originals CD in 2009 along with their cover of the KISS classic “The King of the Nighttime World” which graced the all-star tribute album “Spin the Bottle”.
