BEHIND THE SCENES
FEATURING
JUSTIN NOZUKA, RZA, JAMES BLACK, KOBRA KHAN AND RICH BEDDOE (IN THE VIDEO)
VIDEO DIRECTED BY: DAVID MEWA

April 10th 2011, I happened to be on the set of the video shoot for ‘Gone’ Featuring Justin Nozuka, RZA of Wutang, Kobra Khan, James Black (Siick Guitarist) and Rich Beddoe (Incredible drummer!) of Finger Eleven, basically a rainbow collaboration of artists for this track. The song itself was produced by ABC production’s master Producer AliKat who has worked with artists like Snow, Cutty Ranks, Master P and of course his homeboy Kobra Khan who wanted this collaboration for his album. Rza of Wutang is saying this is his tribute to ODB (Rest In Peace), this is a great song for anyone that has lost a loved one. The building used as location was super creepy because it was also the same location for a few of the SAW films. My heart goes out to all who were in the water for long periods of time in the dungeon, shot after shot in ankle high water.

Director David Mewa turned it out on this video for sure, it’s always great to see someone who loves what they do make their vision a reality. I have been on Mewa’s set before, he is one of the few Directors I have ever seen actually get in there and help out and not just stare at the playback screen. I won’t go on any further enjoy the behind the scenes video below and don’t forget to check out the shots just under and the official Video of Gone.
